After-School Programs

Extended Day is Available for all Scholars

Extended Day is Saint Peter Claver’s after-school child care program for students in Kindergarten through Grade 8.  On school days, the program is open from 2:30 – 5:00 p.m.

The Extended Day programs support the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each student in an environment that compliments the mission and values of our school. At Extended Day, we believe that students prosper in an environment that provides a balance of academic and social learning experiences. We make every effort to promote student accomplishments based on the belief that each child has personal strengths, interests and abilities.

Less structured than the regular school day, it offers a variety of mixed-age group activities, as well as quiet time for independent reading, games or homework.   Outdoor play throughout the seasons is encouraged for all children.  The program is supervised by part-time and full time staff members who are committed to providing a fun, caring, and safe setting.  Students are expected to follow the normal Code of Conduct.
