Do you have to be Catholic to go to St. Peter Claver School?
St. Peter Claver welcomes all families and scholars, whether you are Catholic or not. We encourage faith to build character and believe each person is a unique and beloved child of God.
Is there any financial aid available?
We work with families to create a payment plan that fits each budget. Our tuition is set at $1,400 a year, but no family will be turned away because of their inability to pay.
What are the academic standards like?
St. Peter Claver prides itself on data-driven academic standards and uniquely tailor math and reading instruction to fit each scholar’s needs. Along with the core subjects, there is an emphasis on physical education, the performing arts as well as the social-emotional aspect of learning.
Who do we serve?
St. Peter Claver Catholic School, one of three schools that make up Ascension Catholic Academy, is a “mission-critical” inner-city school and an important anchor for the Rondo Neighborhood of St. Paul. The school serves a diverse community – primarily African American. A majority of the scholars are not Catholic.
